Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were spotless, huge, and very pleasant with a great view, though a bit smaller compared to other hotels at the same level. The service, especially from the concierge at JW Marriott Changhfen Park, was nothing but friendly and helpful even with my limited Mandarin skills. The location was perfect, right next to Chang Feng Park and close to restaurants. The dining experience was rich and tasty, and the facilities were top-notch.
The hotel room was spacious and seemed much newer with all the latest ergonomic features, including a new bigger TV. I loved the automatic curtains, and everything was clean. However, the check-in process at 3 am was not ideal.
The hotel is located in a very nice area of Shanghai, close to the park and plenty of restaurants, making it convenient for both leisure and business travelers. The rooms are all very clean with new furniture, offering a comfortable stay, although they are on the smaller side compared to other similar hotels. The service is top-notch, with staff who remember your preferences and provide attentive care. The dining experience is fantastic, especially with Ms. Judy's excellent service during breakfast. The facilities are well-maintained and offer everything you need for a pleasant stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although not meeting my specific request for one bed, were comfortable and clean. However, the room layout felt unusual with the bathroom dividing the space. The hotel atmosphere reminded me of an airport smoking lounge. On the bright side, the service was exceptional, especially the warm and welcoming attitude of the executive lounge staff that my preschool-age daughter loved. The location was very convenient, close to tourist attractions and plenty of dining options, but not clearly described. In terms of dining, the experience was a bit of a hassle with inconsistent quality, although the Executive Lounge service was exceptional. The facilities were decent, but some aspects didn't meet Marriott standards.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with comfy rooms and attentive service. However, the dining options were a bit lacking in variety. The facilities were well-maintained and enjoyable, making it a good value for the money.
